The University of Idaho Vandal Marching Band would like to invite your band to participate in our Homecoming Parade on Oct. 5, 2024.
Homecoming Parade
The annual Homecoming Parade travels through downtown Moscow. Bands must check-in by 9:30 a.m. The parade begins at 10:00 a.m.
Band Day Pregame Show
The Pregame Show will feature visiting bands with the U of I Vandal Marching Band - we typically have around 1,200 students on the field. Rehearsal will run from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. immediately following the parade. Performance will begin at approximately 1:35 p.m. followed by a 2:00 p.m. kickoff.
Pregame music will be emailed to you ( as .pdf files) once you register.
The registration form should be returned by Friday, Sept. 20 in order to guarantee seats for your band. Logistical details will be emailed to band directors on Friday, Sept. 27.
Tentative Schedule for School Bands
9:30 a.m. Parade Check-in Deadline (please arrive before this)
10:00 a.m. Parade
10:45 a.m. Rehearsal with the U of I Marching Band (Kibbie Dome)
11:45 a.m. Clear field
1:35 p.m. Pregame Show
2:00 p.m. Football game: U of I vs. NAU
5:30 p.m. Vandals win!
