Apartment Move-In Information
Housing and Residence Life is happy that you are considering choosing our on-campus apartments.
Your assignment offer will include your check-in date and time. At that time or anytime after, you may come to our Information Desk between LLCs 2 and 3 on the corner of Line and 6th Street to pick up your keys and check in with us.
Please refer to your assignment letter for your check in date and time.
Information Desk Address: 901 Paradise Creek St. Moscow, ID 83844
Please complete your ACF and return it to the University Housing Office or Information Desk. It is important that we receive your ACF within three days of your check-in to prevent you from being liable for any preexisting damages and to insure we can complete any necessary repairs as you get comfortable moving in. Please be thorough and detailed so we can assure you the best possible service.
Apartment residents have exclusive access to Green lots with the purchase of a Green permit. Green permits are located around the apartments and also allow access to various Blue lots throughout campus. There are also visitor permits available for purchase. Purchase a permit online through Parking and Transportation Services.
When you arrive, the following utilities will be functioning in your apartment: internet, water, sewer, garbage and electricity. However, residents are responsible for electricity costs.
How to set up your electricity account through Avista: Within one week of checking in, your electricity must be transferred from the University of Idaho to your name. Have your physical address ready when you call Avista at 1-800-227-9187.
Apartment residents have free access to campus wireless internet. To log in, simply choose the AirVandalGold network and log in with your university NetID and password. Each apartment also has a port for a wired option, which is recommended for the best connection. You will need to purchase your own Ethernet cable.
Additionally, you may use the services of ResNet, a team of IT technicians dedicated to supporting University Housing residents with any on-site technical needs. ResNet can assist you with a variety of technology related issues, such as connecting your devices to the internet, identifying hardware issues, and general troubleshooting.
