Interior Architecture & Design Program
Our Interior Architecture and Design Program — the only one of its kind in the state of Idaho — is about enhancing the quality of life for all people through innovative, environmentally friendly and socially conscious design rooted in structural, scientific, architectural principles. We prepare students to design structural interiors that protect the health, safety and welfare of occupants. These designs lead to meaningful spaces that create memories and brand experiences.
As an integral part of a land-grant university dedicated to our state, we offer hands-on engagement with community partners to develop design solutions that address our community’s pressing needs. Through immersive student experiences, like study abroad, student organizations and relationships with faculty and staff, you gain firsthand experiences that are highly valuable in the professional arena.
This commitment to experiential learning not only enriches your future portfolio but also ensures you secure fulfilling and financially rewarding positions. Notably, our reputation speaks volumes, with all our graduates since 2019 boasting a 100 percent job placement rate within the design disciplines by October of the same year they graduated.
