Employees at U of I
Employees are a key and integral pillar to students learning, experiences and overall success. Experiential learning is a High Impact Practice (HIP) and therefore is a necessary part of a student's development throughout their college career. If you're eager to encourage students to gain experience while in school, there are different opportunities to guide them toward:
- Encourage students to find experiential learning opportunities such as internships, undergraduate research, attend Networking Nights/Career Fairs and more. Employees can learn more about the opportunities available to our students
- Invite Employers to the classroom
- Encourage students to utilize networking
