George T. Warren Scholarship
The George T. Warren Scholarship is awarded to help students with sensory and/or certain physical disabilities obtain a college education at the University Idaho.
George T. Warren was a graduate of University of Idaho College of Law and became a practicing attorney. In his later years, he experienced both sight and hearing loss. He also had a niece who became a wheelchair user in her mid-twenties. These personal experiences led him to leave an endowment to University of Idaho to assist students with certain disabilities who demonstrate financial need.
The award is up to $5,000 annually for undergraduates and graduate students. The reward is renewable up to five years.
All applications submitted after August 19, 2024, will be reviewed and considered for the 2025-2026 academic year.
