Accommodation
University of Idaho complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), under which employees are required to perform the functions of their position with or without a reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may include — but are not limited to — remote work, adjustments to the work schedule or modifications to the work place (such as lighting or ergonomic office equipment).
Employees may request a reasonable accommodation through Human Resources. If an employee you supervise may benefit from a reasonable accommodation, please refer them to HR. Do not collect medical information from them directly, as this may infringe on health privacy regulations. HR will let the supervisor know of any needed action when an accommodation request is approved.
