Gail provides leadership for the 4-H program, UpRiver Afterschool, youth development camps and teaches the master gardener program in Benewah County. She also provides educational resources in agriculture and livestock topics.

Gail graduated from the University of Idaho with a Bachelor of Science in agricultural science and technology in 2002 and a Master’s of Science in agricultural education in 2012. After graduating with her bachelor’s degree, Gail served as an AmeriCorps member for two years working in the UI Extension office in Latah County for Youth Substance Use Prevention and 4-H programs. That experience led to her creating and serving as the executive director of the Latah County Youth Advocacy Council for youth substance use prevention. After receiving her master’s degree, Gail was hired as the University of Idaho Extension educator in Benewah County where she was responsible for 4-h youth development, agriculture, natural resources, Idaho master gardeners, mental health first aid programs and created the Benewah County 4-H STEM Center. Gail now serves as an UI Extension educator in Ada County developing and supporting 4-H club programs.
