Culture Kit Program
The Culture Kits program was a project initiated by Jo Ann Trail to collect artifacts that represent both traditional and modern aspects of a culture, or an autonomous region in a specific country.
Culture kits may contain an array of artifacts including traditional clothing, jewelry, art, instruments, decorative items, trinkets and more.

The Culture Kit Program is open to all departments and offices across the University of Idaho along with the local community. In the past, we’ve lent culture kits to local schools and community organizations.
There is no cost to borrow a culture kit. There is a fee of $10 for each day the culture kit is returned late. If there are any items that are returned damaged, the borrowers will be responsible to pay ranging from $50-$200 depending on the damaged item.
Yes! You can borrow up to five culture kits at a time.
The culture kits can be borrowed for a maximum time of one week.
