Mimi Kestle
As the International Program Coordinator, Mimi is responsible for the social events and programs throughout the year, such as Cruise the World, International Education Week, International Ambassador Program, the Friendship Family Program and much more. She is very passionate about the internationalization of education, fostering a welcoming environment for internationals and raising leaders and equipping international students and scholars with the skills and knowledge to give them ownership to enrich their educational experience.
Mimi originally hails from Australia and moved to Idaho in 2013, where she graduated from the University of Idaho – Go Vandals! She has worked for several international non-profits from contributing to humanitarian efforts in India and Nepal, refugee resettlement, and an organization to welcome international students in the local community.
During Mimi's free time, she enjoys making (but mostly eating) Vietnamese food, reading stories of kindness, and exploring the beauty of the Idaho wilderness.
