The Idaho Falls Research and Extension Center is located in Idaho Falls and is operated by the University of Idaho College of Agricultural and Life Sciences through the Idaho Agricultural Experiment Station. The center is located at University of Idaho, Idaho Falls and supports UI Extension and agricultural research programs in eastern Idaho. U of I faculty and staff from CALS are housed in the facility.

Collaborative relationships with numerous agencies, groups and individuals result in a vast array of innovative educational programs. The Idaho Falls Research and Extension Center faculty and staff also support eastern district UI Extension programs.

Major research and extension programs are conducted on agriculture, natural resources, youth, family, community and environmental issues.
