Graduate Programs
Our graduate degrees in Natural Resources and Environmental Science allow you to focus on your area of interest, tapping into the expertise of more than 100 professors. Enhance your knowledge and skills alongside renowned researchers and thought leaders working across the nation and globe.
Research (thesis and dissertation) based degrees require the completion of original research carried out by the student under the guidance of a major professor and graduate advisory committee. Non-thesis degrees are primarily course-based, and our Master of Natural Resources program and M.S. in Environmental Science (non-thesis option) can both be completed fully online. These award-winning non-thesis programs include over 50 online courses in environmental and natural resources: together they attract the largest online graduate degree student body in the nation.
Current and prospective students are encouraged to review the CNR Graduate Student Handbook.
