Daria Paxton is an Undergraduate Research Assistant with the Policy Analysis Group. She will graduate from University of Idaho in Fall 2021 with a B.S. in Forest Management. Daria has held internships with the United States Forest Service and PotlatchDeltic Corporation, where she implemented silvicultural prescriptions, piloted drones, created maps and monitored timber stands.
Daria is currently working with the Policy Analysis Group on an evaluation of forest carbon offset projects in the United States. She is doing this by reviewing all forest carbon offsets that are listed in the Verified Carbon Standard registries, American Carbon Registry and Climate Action Reserve. This information will be summarized into an information sheet with maps created with ArcGIS.
