Spring Into the SRC Challenge
University of Idaho students and employees, let your healthy habits bloom by joining the Spring into the SRC Challenge! This six-week challenge is designed to motivate you to build consistent exercise habits and explore group fitness classes.
Challenge Dates: Monday, March 17, 2025 — Sunday, April 27, 2025
Registration is required to participate and can be done on a rolling basis throughout the challenge. Please note, points will only be counted starting from the week you register — no prior weeks will be counted. Final day to register is Monday, April 21, 2025.
How to Earn Points
Daily Points
Simply visit the SRC, swipe in at the main gates and complete any activity of your choice to earn 200 points. Only one swipe per day will be counted.
Want to earn more points? Swipe into any group fitness class at the SRC and earn an additional 100 points for each day you attend a group fitness class.
Bonus Point Activities
Each week, you can earn up to 300 bonus points by completing other healthy activities and submitting them by 11:59 p.m. each Sunday. Details on bonus point activities and submission will be shared after registration.
Tracking Points
Points are tracked by SRC staff based on your gym and group fitness class swipes. Only bonus point activities will be submitted each week.
Swipe points will be counted for each week starting Mondays at 6 a.m. until the following Sunday at 8:59 p.m. You will receive an email update the following week stating if you received a prize entry.
Prizes
Weekly Prizes
Individuals who reach 600 points in a week will be entered into a weekly drawing for the chance to win various prizes!
End-of-Challenge Prize
Reaching at least 600 points in a week will also get you an entry into the end-of-challenge prize for a $50 Tri-State gift card. That means you can have up to 6 entries for the end-of-challenge prize if you reach 600 points each week of the challenge!
The best prize of all is having fun while working toward your personal fitness goals!
