Psychological Assessment
Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and learning disorders (LD) are complex disorders that require labor-intensive assessment procedures to diagnose. Feedback from a comprehensive psychological assessment will often provide information to improve function or compensate for weaknesses even when a diagnosis of ADHD or a LD is not appropriate. Results may also help the student understand other concerns, such as substance use, anxiety, depression and personality issues.
Students interested in requesting a psychological assessment should visit the Counseling and Mental Health Center's website for more information.
