In this program, you will develop your “social imagination” and study the social dynamics that influence our experiences, behaviors and opportunities. You will explore topics like race, social class, gender, globalization, crime, social mobility and the environment.
Research is a key component of this field. As a sociology major, you will learn to interpret statistics, write reports, and design and conduct studies using various research tools and methods.
