Environmental Compliance
Our Commitment
Environmental Health and Safety is committed to providing a safe work environment for students, faculty and staff and limiting the environmental impact of university activities. To this end, EHS manages several environmental compliance programs, including air and water quality and oil pollution prevention, to comply with and exceed the rules and regulations of federal and state agencies. These programs have a positive impact on the university and environment, which led to recognition of the university as the Pollution Prevention Champion for 2017 as awarded by Idaho Department of Environmental Quality.
As a member of our Vandal community, you are encouraged to embrace stewardship of our natural environment by making sustainable choices in all that you do. Join us in our commitment to keep our air, water, land and other resources pollution-free.
For additional information on any of these programs, please contact EHS.
