Fall Protection Program
What we do
EHS has the resources to assist in creating the fall protection plans necessary when working in areas that have a fall hazard of six feet or more and no guardrails or barriers. When employees need to work in unprotected areas, roof access for example, edge alerts or effective fall protection systems that will safely arrest a fall, should one occur, must be in place.
What you need to do
Supervisors are responsible for ensuring that necessary written procedures are in place and that the employees they supervise are adequately trained and equipped before they are allowed to wear fall protection equipment and/or monitor work in these areas.
