Undergraduate Advising

Student Services offers undergraduate advising for students working toward earning teaching certification and toward degrees in the movement sciences. Those seeking teaching certification have the option of completing their bachelor's degrees in the College of Education, Health and Human Sciences (except for agricultural education, family life education and music education) or in the department of their subject major.

Transfer Students

To determine if classes from your previous academic institution meet U of I requirements, please use the U of I Transfer Guide. The guide will help pair courses taken at other academic institutions with comparable U of I classes. Transfer students should make an appointment to speak with an academic advisor at their earliest opportunity.

Transcripts

Official transcripts must be submitted to the Office of the Registrar for transcript analysis. When the analysis is complete, the appropriate department will determine changes or other substitutions.
