What can you do as a computer engineer?

Computer engineers use a combination of science, mathematics and engineering to develop hardware- and software-based systems. Apply the principles of electrical engineering and computer science for the benefit of society. Design sensor systems for NASA, simulate brain waves for facial recognition or improve intersection safety for disabled pedestrians.

What can you do as an electrical engineer?

Electrical engineers apply the physics and mathematics of electricity, electromagnetism and electronics to create new and improved electrical equipment and systems. Design and evaluate circuits and systems for computers, robots, cell phones and large-scale communication systems, including power stations and satellites.
