The University of Idaho College of Engineering pairs current students with mentors with similar life experiences. Students engage in mentorship activities through many different programs.
College of Engineering Mentorship Program
$500 scholarship per participant
Build community, network, build new skills and learn from professional women engineers working in industry. This program pairs Society of Women Engineers (SWE) members with employees from leading industry across the nation. All College of Engineering students and gender identities welcome to apply.
Society of Women Engineers (SWE) Mentorship Program
Connect with current students through peer-to-peer mentorship and engagement. Open to all gender identities, this program pairs first-year engineering students and current Society of Women Engineers (SWE) members with senior leadership in the program.
OMA Scholars Program
Designed to strengthen U of I's multicultural community and encourage individual cultural exploration, the Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA) Scholars Program offers scholarships to first-year engineering students, supports students through access to campus resources and promotes participation in non-multicultural oriented activities and leadership opportunities.
