Rob Green is the Lab Manager for the Center for Ecohydraulics Research in the Civil Engineering Department on the Boise campus at the University of Idaho. He oversees the setup and maintenance of a large scale flume, product development lab and woodworking shop.
Green earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Iowa State University in 1984 and his Professional Engineers license in 1990. He worked in various industries including aerospace, medical, ophthalmic, durable goods and consumer products for 28 years. He then spent ten years teaching at the College of Western Idaho.
Green’s engineering areas of specialization include feedback based closed loop system analysis, electro-mechanical design, prototyping, design for manufacture, as well as CNC fabrication skills.
