University of Idaho and Student Alumni Relations Board (SArb) are excited to have our Vandal families on campus. SArb is a student organization that partners with campus and community groups to offer events and programming that encourages students to have a positive and full university experience.

Friday, April 11
5-6:30 p.m. — Paint Night
Hays Hall Alumni Lounge 1212 Blake Ave
Cost: Free for all students and parents
Get ready to add a splash of color to Spring Parent and Family Weekend with our tumbler painting event! Join us in the Alumni Lounge for a fun-filled session where you can let your imagination run wild, creating unique designs on tumblers to share and cherish with your loved ones.
Saturday, April 12
10 a.m. — Parents and Plants Session 1
Sixth Street Greenhouse
Cost: $20 per basket
Calling all plant enthusiasts! Join us for an enriching experience during Parent and Family Weekend as the Plant and Soil Science Club hosts a delightful session on potting plant baskets. RVSP Not Required, Payment will be taken at the door. Cash, cards and checks will be accepted.
10 a.m. to 5 p.m. — Quilt Show
Latah County Fairgrounds, 1021 Harold St.
Cost: Admission $5, Seniors (65+) $3, Children (under 10) $3
More than 200 quilts will be on display. Features Northwest Quilting and supply vendors.
10 a.m. — Starving Artist Sale
Pitman Center
Cost: Free to Attend
Life is better when you have more art!
Bring home something original from the Starving Artist Sale! Whether you're starting your collection or adding to it, this is your chance to discover new art while supporting 65 talented students, alumni and community artists.
Painting, ceramics, sculpture, printmaking, fiber, jewelry, caricatures, henna and so much more!
11 a.m. — Cornhole Tournament
Tower Lawn
Cost: $15 per team
Do you have what it takes to win the Spring Vandal Family Weekend Cornhole tournament? Join the Student Alumni Relations Board on the Tower Lawn to take on other families!

Experience the joy of crafting a connection at Parent and Family Weekend with the Student Alumni Relations Board's friendship bracelet making event! Join us as we thread together memories and laughter, creating timeless tokens of love and friendship to cherish for years to come.
5:30-8:30 p.m. — Dinner and Entertainment with NYNY Dueling Pianos
International Ballroom, Bruce Pitman Center
Cost: $40 per person
Doors will open at 5 p.m., program and dinner will begin at 5:30 p.m. with Dueling Pianos performance starting at 6:30 p.m.
Sunday, April 13
10 a.m. to 4 p.m. — Quilt Show

Student Recreation Center Family Weekend Specials
- Free Student Recreation Center (SRC) access (Friday through Sunday) for families of current U of I students (must be 18+ for general facility use, must have their U of I student participating with them).
- Friday Group Fitness Classes Free for all students and families at least 18 years old.
- Free climbing access (Friday through Sunday) for families of current students (must have their U of I student participating)
- Free climbing rentals and basics clinics Friday through Sunday (12 participant limit).
- Youth are eligible for free climbing with guardian present.
Airway Hills Golf Center Events
Airway Hills Golf Center's tee time is 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Call 509-872-3092 to book
The Ultimate Mini Golf Challenge
This “Best Ball Challenge” uses the best players score from each hole to create your “Team Score!” The bigger the group, the better your chance to win!
Price: $20 per person

Rain or shine this family weekend activity will be the thing to do!
Take a swing at the brand-new “PGA Full Swing” simulators. Choose from a wide variety of famous courses, play some top golf, or try out the other fun activities (football, baseball, pirate wars, connect-fore and more!)

Barrel Par 3 Course
A golf activity that is different from anything you have ever done before! It's like a par 3 course — but make it more fun!
Buy an all-day pass for only $15. Play some and come back later.
Price: $15 per person

Driving Range Target Challenge
Not your average driving range. This 350-yard driving range has fun targets for you to hit at. Make it a challenge by seeing who can hit the most targets.
(Win a member for the day pass when you hit the “special target”)
Price: Range balls cost between $10-$15 depending on size.
