4-H Youth Development
4-H is a national youth program for youth ages 8 to 18. 4-H members have fun and learn by doing. They gain knowledge and develop public speaking, decision making and leadership skills and integrity and sportsmanship.
Projects and Activities
There is a wide variety of projects to choose from: pet care, food preparation, aerospace, arts and crafts, leadership, livestock and many more. UI Extension, Jefferson County projects are exhibited at either the Rigby or Mud Lake Fair. Top projects are then eligible to exhibit at the Eastern Idaho State Fair in Blackfoot.
There are other exciting activities such as camps, fairs, day camps and judging contests for 4-H members.

- Cloverbuds: $15
- Traditional 4-H (ages 8-18): $25
- Horse 4-H: $25
