Causing multiple shutdowns, COVID-19 wreaked havoc on the world economy. In a short informational video, two economics experts from University of Idaho Extension take a closer look. They briefly report on the coronavirus outbreak's impact on the state's employment figures through the first three quarters of 2020. Although some sectors experienced more dramatic losses, Idaho's overall response was robust, recording the sharpest dip and recovery in unemployment ever recorded. By August, the state had third-lowest unemployment rate in nation.
