Looking for a quiet place to study? The Bennion Student Union Building (BSUB) is the place to go.  During peak class times, the BSUB multipurpose room can be a great option.  Select a table along the sides of the room for maximum space or grab a chair by the windows for a more scenic view. The BSUB is also open on Saturdays, no reservations needed.

Want to get a quick workout after a hectic day (or before a hectic day)? The exercise room on the first floor of the BSUB is free and open to students. We ask that you be kind to your fellow students by limiting your time on the equipment and by wiping it down after use.

Need a place to take a break, grab a nap or meet other students? Check out the Student Lounge in the Center for Higher Education Building (CHE). The lounge in CHE 206 opened in Fall 2021 and is already a favorite place for students. Sofas, a conference table and a giant computer monitor are just a few of the items in the lounge. The space is drop-in available but can also be scheduled for meetings on a limited basis. To schedule a meeting, email Micheal Timm.

Working on a group project and need a meeting room? Email Micheal Timm to discuss options.

Watch for a new technology space in the CHE to be unveiled later this year.

Students at the Idaho Falls campus can use the computer lab in CHE 203 on a drop-in basis. Computers and a print station are available during regular building hours.

The lab in CHE 204 is primarily a teaching lab but may, on a case by case basis, be utilized by students outside of class time hours.

At both locations, students access the computers using the U of I NetID username and password.

For questions about the labs, software available, access, etc. email the Idaho Falls OIT office at support@uidaho.edu. For quickest service include Idaho Falls in the subject line of your email.

In the event U of I Idaho Falls buildings must close due to weather or other circumstances, all students will be notified via VandalMail. Updates regarding the closure will be posted on the University of Idaho, Idaho Falls website and Facebook.

The University of Idaho, Idaho Falls is co-located with Idaho State University at University Place. Visit isu.edu/publicsafety/ for more information regarding campus safety.
