U of I Holds Open Theatre Auditions for Spring Season

MOSCOW, Idaho — Jan. 3, 2022 — Auditions for the University of Idaho’s 2022 spring theatre season will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 15, at the Hartung Theater, 625 Stadium Drive, Moscow. Auditions are open to anyone with an interest in live theatre and film, including community members. Callbacks will be held the next day.

U of I’s Department of Theatre Arts will produce two staged readings of new works by U of I Master of Fine Arts students on Zoom: “Stretched on Your Grave” and “Castlewood,” and two live productions: the dark comedy “Mr. Burns, a Post-Electric Play,” by Anne Washburn, and the musical “Into the Woods,” by Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine. Additionally, U of I film studentswill be casting for their student films.
