U of I Boise to Host Dual Credit Information Night Dec. 12
December 06, 2023
BOISE, Idaho — University of Idaho Boise will hold a Dual Credit Information Night at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12, at the Idaho Water Center in downtown Boise. The event is free and open to the public.
At the event, high school students and their parents/supporters will learn about dual credit opportunities in Boise, how to register for classes, financial aid opportunities and more.
“Dual credit classes are a great way to get a jump start on your college degree while still in high school,” said Casie Moreland, U of I’s director of dual credit. “This is a great opportunity for students to explore college pathways while working toward high school and college graduation.”
High school students in attendance will have a chance to win a $1,000 Future Vandal Award scholarship. The Future Vandal Award — a one-time, non-renewable $1,000 scholarship — will be given away at the event to a high school senior or transfer student looking to enroll at University of Idaho for Fall 2024, 2025 or 2026 in the College of Letters, Arts and Social Sciences.
The event will be held in the Legacy Pointe room of the Idaho Water Center, 322 E. Front St.
