    Get in the game

Vandal Esports is University of Idaho’s competitive gaming community for students who love video games, teamwork and friendly competition.

Our program features both varsity and junior varsity (JV) teams, offering opportunities to compete in organized leagues and tournaments against universities nationwide in events like the Big Sky Conference, ECAC and other national competitions.

If competition isn’t your style, you can still get involved through campus events that bring Vandals together for fun, connection and low-pressure play.

The program is open to all undergraduate and graduate students — welcoming casual players, competitive gamers and everyone in between. Join us in the Esports Lab, a welcoming place for you to connect, compete and work your way to the very top!

    Esports games

Our teams compete in a wide variety of titles, including:

    • Fortnite
    • Counter-Strike 2
    • League of Legends
    • Valorant
    • Rocket League
    • Overwatch
    • Marvel Rivals
    • Rainbow Six Siege
    • Super Smash Bros Ultimate

And that’s just the beginning – more titles are added regularly. Visit the UIdaho Esports website for the latest information and team rosters.
