Unofficial Transcripts
Current students access through MyUI under Student Profile. To print or save a copy, use the browser Print function and select your printer or choose Save as PDF, if available.
Former students, without an active MyUI account, may submit a request for an unofficial transcript BY FAX OR MAIL using the Transcript Request Form above. Unofficial transcripts are not signed or sealed and intended only for personal use. As these are issued and sent via postal mail to the student, they do not meet requirements for teacher re/certification. Opened transcripts are generally not accepted by other institutions or third party recipients.

General Information
- Due to legislation that went into effect July 1, 2024, students who received federal financial aid (Title IV funding) may have their transcript request processed even if there is an outstanding balance on their student account. No other transcript requests can be processed until all financial obligations to the university have been satisfied.
- Orders placed online can specify delivery method--PDF electronic, mail or FedEx.
- In compliance with Payment Card Industry (PCI) standards and security of personal information, transcript requests cannot be accepted via email.
- End of semester transcripts are not available for at least 1 week after grades are due from instructors; transcripts pending degree awards at the end of the semester take additional time beyond grades, up to 6 weeks. Orders may be placed requesting After Grades are Posted or After Degree is Awarded during the term.
- Normal processing for mailed transcripts is within 3-5 business days; rush processing is 1 business day. Mailing times vary with the US Postal Service depending upon destination.
- Students must appear in-person and show a valid photo ID when picking up transcripts in the Registrar's Office.
About PDF/eTranscripts
- PDF transcripts are official transcripts and can only be ordered online.
- Payment card will be preauthorized, but not charged until order is completed.
- PDF transcripts are delivered through a secure mailbox, generally an hour after the order is finalized. The emailed link to the secure mailbox expires after 30 days and cannot be regenerated or retrieved.
- Delivery can be delayed if: 1) attendance was prior to 1990; 2) attachments included with order require review and approval; or 3) inability to locate records based on order information.
- PDF transcripts can be saved using the Save As PDF function and printed; recipients are encouraged to retain a copy for their records.
- The latest version of Adobe Reader is required to open and view PDF transcripts. The web browser must be set to open PDF documents directly in Adobe and not the browser itself; see browser setting instructions for Firefox and Chrome. Be sure your system is compatible first before ordering PDF transcripts.

Background Investigators
If no transcript is required, degree and attendance date verification can be obtained online directly through the National Student Clearinghouse.
To request an unofficial transcript for background verification purposes, we accept requests via fax or mail. Submit a Transcript Request Form with the following information:
- Student full name, DOB, and student ID if known (first line).
- In the Mail To section, enter investigator's name, company, and either fax number or mailing address to return to. If requesting fax return be sure your fax security setting will receive from our number.
- Investigator's contact phone number should also be noted in the event we have questions (Contact Phone blank).
- Copy of signed release form.
- Payment card information for the $5 processing fee.
Normal processing time is 1-2 business days.
