The Office of Research Assurances (ORA) helps ensure ethical and compliant research at University of Idaho. ORA provides expertise on regulations, policies and guidelines, serving as the university’s central resource for research compliance. Post-Award Administration
Post-Award Administration is responsible for managing projects that have been funded by a sponsoring agency. All awards must be reviewed by the Post Award team prior to acceptance and signature by the authorized organizational representative, which is currently the OSP director.
Additionally, the post-award staff processes all award modifications and requests for prior approval, (e.g., time extensions, incremental funding and budget revision requests), and prepares and sets up awards in the Banner system after all required approvals have been received.
