Dr. Hicke studies global environmental change issues across a range of spatial and temporal scales. He investigates the interaction of climate, forests, and disturbances such as wildfire and insect outbreaks.
Jeff Hicke studies global environmental change issues across a range of spatial and temporal scales. He investigates the interaction of climate, forests, and disturbances such as wildfire and insect outbreaks. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and held a research scientist position at the Natural Resource Ecology Laboratory at Colorado State University before coming to University of Idaho in August 2006.
