Crowdfunding is the practice of funding a project or venture by raising many small amounts of money from a large number of people, typically via the Internet.

U&I Give is a platform for faculty, staff, and students to create and share fundraising campaigns with an engaged community. The platform empowers the entire University of Idaho community and beyond to come together and create a lasting impact by funding meaningful projects.

Students, faculty, and staff can apply to create a fundraising campaign on the platform.

Apply to create a fundraising campaign by filling out this application.

A member of the Annual Giving team will contact you to set-up an in-person meeting. Your application will then be reviewed and if your campaign is approved, they will help you develop a campaign plan and launch your project.

Select the project that interests you and then click "Give Now" on the project's campaign page. Don't forget to share the project with your social networks!

No, all funds raised will be applied to the stated fundraising purpose. If a project becomes impractical or impossible to implement, funds will be used in the spirit of the original purpose of the project.

Only if you want it to be displayed. You have the option to hide the amount of your donation, your name or both.

You have the option to hide your name from the public donor wall but you are required to enter in your name and contact info for receipting and stewarding purposes. If you'd like to make a truly anonymous gift, please contact the University of Idaho Foundation at 208-885-4000

As an expression of gratitude, some campaigns may offer perks. If the perk has an associated fair market value, that amount will be subtracted from the tax-deductible portion of your donation. Please consult with a trusted tax professional for further questions.

Yes! All donations to our projects run through the University of Idaho Foundation. Upon making a gift, you will receive an e-receipt.
