Margot Volem teaches composition and rhetoric. She also serves as faculty liaison for high school teachers around the state of Idaho who deliver U of I English classes for dual credit.

Margot Volem is an educator with a background is in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). Prior to joining the English Department of the University of Idaho, she taught intensive English language classes at both the undergraduate and graduate-levels, at INTO Oregon State University and the University of Texas at Austin. She has held faculty positions at Shandong University of Science and Technology in Jinan, China and at Mustafa Kemal University in Antakya, Turkiye where she served as an English Language Fellow for the U.S. Department of State and Georgetown University.
