Lionel Hampton’s vision of celebrating jazz through music education is alive and well. 

Adjudicated student performances, clinics and workshops — taught with the help of professional musicians — are a long-held tradition that aid in the development of young artists from schools across the region.

Join us each spring for the annual Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival by registering your student ensembles and performers for an adjudicated performance slot.

Registration Fees include participation in daytime LHJF competitions. Settle your registration invoice to receive a promo code for discounted concert tickets, which are sold separately.

A performance info form is required for every entry. Blank forms will be provided at Director Check-In, or bring a completed copy using our fillable online form.
