Josh Decker grew up in Idaho Falls, ID and after graduating high school, he attended Washington State University where he received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. In 2007, he completed Officer Candidate School and was commissioned in the United States Marine Corps as a Communications Officer. During his eight years of service, he deployed to Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2008-2009 and Operation Enduring Freedom in 2010-2011.
In 2014, he left the Marine Corps and attended the University of Southern California to earn his Master of Business for Veterans from the Marshall School of Business. After graduation, he transitioned into a career in cybersecurity. He currently works for a Minneapolis-based start-up company where he manages the security team that provides professional services to help organizations build combat threats, mitigate risks, and build comprehensive security strategies.
Josh currently lives in San Diego, CA with his wife Natalie and their two sons Dylan and Drew.
