4-H or Youth Programs

In 4-H we believe in the power of the youth of today, because they will be our leaders of tomorrow. In 4-H we work to provide engaging learning opportunities. Through these opportunities we strive to promote self-achievement, self-confidence, responsibility, public speaking skills, and leadership skills that will carry these youth throughout their lives in whatever they endeavor to accomplish.

4-H is the largest youth organization in the world. It reaches all 50 states and 80 countries. In Idaho all 45 counties are represented.  If you doubt this then take a look at the numbers for just the United States.

  • 6 million youth
  • 540,000 volunteers
  • 3,500 professionals
  • 60 million alumni
