Our Idaho Home Garden Tips program is a great place to start for home gardeners, but we also have our Idaho Master Gardener program for those wanting a more rigorous gardening program.
As well as our weekly Pest Alert newsletter that track pests in the area and give you the most accurate information for managing them in southeast Idaho.

We love getting together to learn from presenters from across the west and become better gardeners. This years classes include:
- What grows best? Plants suited to my soil, climate and the location in my yard
- Intelligent irrigation: Get the most out of your water
- Tremendous trees: Choosing the best trees for Idaho climates and soils
- Luscious lawns: What you can do to have the best lawn possible
- Pernicious plant problems: What is wrong with my plant and what do I do about it?

Farm Financial Analysis
Class Starting Feb. 26 — Register Today
Classes Feb. 26, March 4, 11, 18; 7-8 p.m. MT online
Cost: $100 per farm unit
Join UI Extension for a Farm Financial Analysis class. Weekly instructional videos allow you to pause, rewind and apply the steps to your own company independently. Then we meet virtually as a group, to answer questions and dive deeper into using these tools in your own businesses. Participants need access to a computer, internet and Microsoft Excel. Course links and related documents will be provided upon registration.

- balance sheets
- income statements
- cash flow, enterprise and partial budgeting
- farm financial analysis
