HOIST 2016: Indigenous Science in Action

This year’s HOIST program will take place June 12 – July 16th. Please check our website for more information and the online application.

HOIST has been at the University of Idaho for 21 years, providing the opportunity to practice our cultural ways of knowing, which have always incorporated math and science. Native American high school students from Idaho and around the Northwest spend intensive and personalized hours, cultivating their science, technology, engineering and math knowledge by participating in classes, internships, evening presentations, hands-on experiences and field trips.
