2019: Climate and Conflict
For more than 70 years, the University of Idaho’s Borah Foundation has focused attention on the causes of war and the conditions for peace. Its annual symposium brings together world leaders, diplomats, scholars and activists to discuss current problems facing our global community and to offer solutions.
This year's Borah Symposium is "Climate and Conflict" and our stellar line-up of speakers include: Sherri Goodman, Senior Strategist at the Center for Climate and Security; Captain Shaun C. McAndrew of the U.S. Navy; Ertharin Cousin, former Executive Director of the UN World Food Programme; and Samantha Power, former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations
We are pleased to bring together such powerful women making international impacts in our world today. See the schedule below to attend the events.
