Suguru Fujiwara

Suguru serves as an International Scholar Advisor in the International Programs Office. He has been working at the University of Idaho for over 12 years. He worked at the Office of the Registrar as an International Transfer Specialist, and moved to IPO in 2023. He has been working the international higher education field for 18 years, and he was awarded NAFSA Region I Outstanding Service Award in December 2022. He was born and raised in Kyoto City, Japan and came to the U.S. as an international student. Suguru likes riding motorcycles, golfing, fishing and cooking (although he likes cooking, he does not bake).
