Foreign Credential Evaluation Services

The University of Idaho Graduate Admissions Office provides in-house transcript evaluations for graduate applicants to our institution. The time involved in the evaluation is dependent on many factors and varies from file to file. In rare cases, if institutional accreditation, document authenticity, degree equivalency, and/or other evaluation components cannot be verified, a course-by-course professional credential evaluation from a third-party service will be requested.

Note: U of I recommends, and reserves the right to require, a professional credential evaluation by an outside, independent party.

Reasons for outside review include, but are not limited to, verification of document authenticity, transfer credits, and the wish to expedite the processing of an application file. If asked to provide a credential evaluation during the application process, you will need to order a course-by-course evaluation report. You are responsible for supplying the correct academic records and paying for the evaluation service.

The professional credential evaluation services, from which U of I will accept evaluations, are listed below.
