B.S., University of Idaho
Nadine was raised on a cattle ranch in Council, Idaho. Her and her family have been involved with 4-H for as long as she can remember. She graduated from the University of Idaho, with a bachelor’s in rangeland resources, and worked for the Forest Service for 13 years, as a rangeland management specialist. She worked on the Payette and Boise national forests in Idaho, and the Bridger Teton National Forest in Wyoming. She left the Forest Service to raise her four children, one daughter and three sons.
After a few years, she returned to work and spent 10 years working for the Glenns Ferry School District, as a paraprofessional, and recently as the testing coordinator for the district. At the school Nadine managed and taught in the Elementary Computer Lab working with grades K-5. She also helped with the afterschool program for four years. Nadine’s whole family has been involved with the Elmore County 4-H program for 15 years. Nadine has been a leader, held various positions on the task force, and the livestock sale clerk. Her other interests include watching her boys play sports, camping and baking (donuts are her specialty).
