Chandra provides leadership, instruction and support for 4-H youth development programs focusing on youth development, adult volunteer development, youth education program development, expanding partnerships and participation, and membership growth.

Chandra was in 4-H for ten years participating in multiple livestock and FCS projects and was involved in FFA for four years as an officer every year and later receiving her American FFA degree. Upon graduating from Filer High School, she attended the College of Southern Idaho where she obtained her technical certificate in livestock management and an associate degree in animal science. She then received her bachelor's degree in agriculture science, communication and leadership from the University of Idaho.
While completing her bachelor's degree, she interned for two years at University of Idaho Extension, Blaine County. She and her husband have four kids and they live on a farm where they raise horses, longhorns, pigs, goats and chickens. She has been a 4-H leader for the past ten years and her kids have been actively involved in the program.
