Brittany Sonnenberg
Brittany serves as an International Student Advisor in the International Programs Office. Originally from Wisconsin, she got her first international experience exploring France and Spain on a Spanish Club trip in high school.
She earned her Associate’s degree from University of Wisconsin-Richland and a Bachelor’s degree from Minnesota State University, Mankato in English. After graduating college, she spent a year teaching English at an elementary school for the Hellenic-American Educational Foundation in Athens, Greece. Before moving to Idaho in 2014, Brittany led an English language summer camp for teens in Yueqinq, China.
Brittany loves getting to know international students and serving as a resource to help them feel welcome at U of I. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors exploring the northwest and hiking with her dog, Clifford.
