Joyce Sun

As an International Student Advisor, Joyce shares responsibilities in helping F-1 students with their immigration concerns.

Joyce grew up in the south but has traveled and visited various places. She has personally experienced what it is like to be a foreigner studying in a different country. Having studied Forest Resources for her undergraduate, she appreciates nature and advocates for conservation and environmental sustainability. She later studied Apparel, Textiles and Design for her master's program with an emphasis in Historic Dress. Joyce has always had an interest in different cultures and languages, but a course in Dress and Culture sparked her passion for exploring effective communication and knowledge sharing across cultures.

Joyce also enjoys flowers, tea, coffee, food sharing and deep discussions on anything and everything!
