Khaleel Zayed
As an International Student Advisor, Khaleel helps F-1 students navigate their immigration concerns, ensures compliance with immigration regulations and supports their overall success on campus. He is passionate about creating a welcoming environment for international students and equipping them with the resources and knowledge to enrich their educational experience in the U.S.
Originally from Jordan, Khaleel grew up speaking Arabic as his first language and moved to the United States after completing high school. He discovered his passion for international education while working as a student worker in the International Programs Office during his undergraduate studies. Khaleel earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Idaho State University and has held roles such as International Admissions Coordinator at Truman State University and DSO Assistant at Idaho State University, gaining extensive experience in student advising, SEVIS compliance and multicultural engagement.
Khaleel's background influences his approach, making him empathetic and dedicated to helping students succeed.
Outside of work, Khaleel enjoys traveling, exploring new cultures and spending time outdoors.
