Jim Lyle Award
This award was created in 1991 and recognizes the outstanding contributions of any living individual or couple who has shown long-term dedication and service to the university and/or the Alumni Association through volunteerism.
The award is named in honor of Jim Lyle, who served with great distinction as University of Idaho alumni director from 1946-1969. Nominations may not be submitted for persons currently holding or running for an elected political office. Consideration will be given for long-term dedication to service to University of Idaho — including colleges, departments, alumni groups, student organizations or campus service groups — and service to University of Idaho Alumni Association, which could include constituent groups, specific events, major projects or local chapter level service.
Nominations are due to Alumni Relations by Sept. 1 each year. For more information, please contact 208-885-6154 or alumni@uidaho.edu.
