Peer Educator FAQ
Peer educators are key members of the Vandal Health Education team and work to improve student, staff, and faculty’s knowledge of health education information, resources, and events. Peer educators plan, organize, and implement high-quality health education programs, workshops, and events to the campus community. Peer educators at Vandal Health Education receive training through the BACCHUS Network and become Certified Peer Educators. They are able to help their campus community by connecting peers to resources on campus, creating conversations about well-being, and modeling well-being. Peer educators enjoy feeling like they are making a difference on campus!
Peer educators with Vandal Health Education are University of Idaho students from any academic department.
Peer educators receive internship credit as arranged through an academic department. Check with your department for options or contact us with questions.
