Sam Welsh, a native of South Florida, received his Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2013. He has held faculty positions at Ithaca College, Colorado State University - Pueblo, and the University of Idaho. Sam is a Founding Director of AIM, a Denver-based nonprofit that provides assistance to students seeking music lessons. Sam studied in Paris with Vlado Perlemuter, the last pupil of Maurice Ravel, and in New York City with Josef Raieff. Sam has performed throughout the US and China.
