Ryan S. Lincoln is a clinical assistant professor of law and teaches courses in civil procedure, lawyering skills, and legal analysis and legal writing.  His scholarship has focused broadly on human rights issues, with particular interest in rule of law, international laws related to sexual violence in armed conflict, and international law in U.S. courts.

Before joining the College of Law faculty, Prof. Lincoln practiced commercial litigation in San Francisco, California and intellectual property litigation in Kansas City, Missouri.  Prof. Lincoln has also represented clients seeking asylum or other humanitarian relief from Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala, Iraq, and Haiti; has worked on human rights issues in Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo; and provided pro bono support on human rights and development issues in Colombia and Liberia.
